I joined up because I figure if anyone would know, it's you guys, I'm building a custom 1986 honda accord hatchback, complete custom, I'm trying to find raised white letter tires or skinny whitewalls and i can't seem to locate them anywhere. I have 195/60-14's now, I can't go to the BF goodrich radial TA tires, because they are too wide and I'm running out of options here. I really like this 80's style, and it will finish the look of the car. Anything you can pass along would be really appreciated.

First get some 13" rims, then check Fairmount Tire in L.A.

Ok Ill check into that, hate to change my rims though, got some 94 geo prism rims, the nice spoked ones, did some machining to make them fit over the accord centers, and painted them black with vintage honda center caps, the small steel ones with the H. Came out really nice, they look nothing like they did in stock form. not even close.

You can find 155/80 13 with skinny whitewall pretty much anywhere. pep boys, sears, etc.....
For 175/70 14 with whitewall, you're going to have to do a little searching to find them as they've pretty much stopped making them, but they're still out there.
I posted these 2 tire sizes as these are the more sought after sizes due to they give that stretched "lowrider" look.
