What makes lowriders infinitely cooler than hot rods or mods is that it's not about how fast you can go or anything like that. It's more of a...how comfortable you can feel. It's the amplification of luxury.

I was eyeballing an 84 grand marguis the other day. Mint condition, 51000 miles, its a great car. But I was asking myself, what do I want to do with this car? I mean my mind ran over the basics, rims, sound, all that, but the stock rims on it were flawless, and the interior...you didn't even want to sit on it.

But I guess, some paint, flash is a statement. Some air bag suspension maybe just to ensure that cruising is the best it can be. Honestly, unlike Hot Rods and such most of the work you can't really do yourself.

Sorry if this was annoying, if there was a definitive book I would buy it too

AIR BAG?????? HAHAHAHAHA - THROUGH SOME SWITCHES ON IT. IF YOU ARE SHORT ON CASH AND JUST WANT TO DROP IT CONSIDER CUTTING OR HEATING UP YOUR SPRINGS. EITHER WAY THE CAR WILL DROP. REMEMBER THE SPRING WILL NOT GO BACK TO THERE ORIGINAL HEIGHT - ONCE THEY ARE CUT/HEATED THEY ARE LOW FOREVER. YOU CAN ALWAYS PURCHASE NEW ONES IF YOU NEED TO. YOU WILL ALSO HAVE TO REPLACE THE SPRINGS IF YOU INSTALL SWITCHES ANYWAY.
