I THINK I GOT RIPPED OFF TO BY A COMPANY CALLED WHEEL DESIGN. I SENT $700 WESTERN UNION. DAVID OR JOSH OR ALL THESE FAKE DUDES SAY CALL BACK AT SO AND SO TIME AND THEN THEY DONT ANSWER MY CALLS.THEY HAVE CALLER ID CAUSE WHEN I CALL FROM A PRIVATE OR DIFFERENT NUMBER THEY'RE QUICK TO ANSWER.THEY SAID THEY SENT MY RIMS OUT ALREADY BUT ITS BEIN ALMOST 2 MONTHS.I WORK HARD FOR MY MONEY AND I CANT BELIVE THE LOYAL LOWRIDER MAGAZINE BUYER I AM THAT LOWRIDER CAN KEEP LETTING THESE GUYS POST ADVERTISEMENTS IN THERE MAGAZINE.IM DOWN TO HELP IN ANYWAY I CAN AND I NEED ALL THE HELP AS WELL. ALL I WANT IS MY RIMS CAUSE I ALREADY PAID HALF AND I WOULD GUESS THEY WOULD SEND MY STUFF CAUSE THE OTHER HALF IS STILL NEEDED TO BE PAID C.O.D.  FROM WHAT IM READING IN THE FORUMS I BELIVE I'VE BEIN SCAMMED. Report them to the Federal Government for mail Fraud.  I hope you paid by Credit card cause you can call them and say that you never rcvd the merchandise or the correct merchandise.

HE HOOKED ME UP AND GOT MY 22'' LEXANI'S W/TIRES FOR A GOOD DEAL ON TIME. WHEEL DESIGN AND AUDIO ARE FAKE ASS PEOPLE AND MOSTLY ALL OF LOWRIDER MAGS RIM ADS. I can add a good company advertised in the Magazine that I have had nothing but great success with. FBI Rides, air ride kits, four links, door solenoids, suicide kits, heck I ordered 5k in goods from them in the last 2 months and I will continue to do business with them. On the other hand I have had bad service with CCE for wheels, one issue I'M IN CANADA and for some reason they don't trust us or something. They will not except a Canadians Visa,Mastercard only money orders. Too bad for them, they lost out on roughly 20-30k a year from me. I build 5 or so cars a year and prices around here are too much so I have to order from down south. Just thought I would add my $0.02.

Anyway go to your Local Rim Shop and buy them direct, if you do not have a Credit card then take your Money and get a Prepaid Credit card and make sure that it is guaranteed like a regular CC.

But be careful if you have a fast talking Mohamed or Armenian they will jack you out of your shorts.

A Youg Lady here were I work tried to get some Rims at "Fast Moh Rim Shop", made her wait all day and then tried to sell her a different kind after they did a 50% trans on her CC, she got smart & left called the CC company and got her money back.

As your Daddy might have said to you if it is to be good to be true, then you are screwed.

So buy smart.

I was ripped off by quick fix tires in Citrus Heights, CA....This company is running a big scam...DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!! I called and was quoted $1299.00 for rims, tires, mounting and balancing. I sent them $700.00 and was told that I would have $599.00 due on delivery as COD. Let me back up and state that I did call them prior to sending the money just to make sure my rims were in stock so there would be no delay. They ensured me they were so I sent the money...I waited and waited...called and tried to get a tracking #...could never get one..they told me they sent three rims out, and had to order the fourth because it was scratched...but could not give me a tracking # for the ones that were sent out. I knew this was a lie because UPS never takes packages without leaving the shipper with a tracking #....besides that, you would have to be an idiot to ship such expensive merchandise without a tracking#...but anyway, I finally got them to admit that none of the rims were ever sent. I requested to cancel my order..they responded by telling me if I do so, there is a 25% cancellation fee. That's right...this company is attempting to keep 25% of my money, when they did not even provide me with a service. This company is a big scam, they are liars and cheaters..Now when I call, they leave me on hold for like 30 minutes and never check back in with me..if I hang up and call right back, they won't answer my calls. No one is ever available to help me, and when I leave messages, no one ever calls me back..including the owner. And for the prior people who mentioned talking to Mecca...I too have spoken to her in calling this company...She was no help...said she would have someone call me back, and never did...I asked her for their address so I could file a complaint..she put me on hold and never came back. I have been trying to get a refund from this company for over 60 days...As of today, I have not received it. I have called this company over 60 times..I save my phone records and document each call. I have filed a complaint with the BBB...that complaint went unresponded to..So I called the Attorney Generals office in Sacramento, California and filed a fraud complaint against this company. If you have been cheated or scammed..you really need to call and report it. They told me the more people who come forward the better. There is not much they can do if we do not step up and report it. So many of these complaints go unreported and that is why they continue to treat customers this way. I also contacted our local FBI office yesterday and filed a consumer fraud complaint. I want this company investigated!!!! I would recommend anyone in a similar situation do the same thing...Enough is Enough!! Time for us to stand up for ourselves since it appears Lowrider Magazine is not going to.  

I forgot to note in my previous post about Kwik Fix...the main reason why I requested to cancel my order is because after they admitted the rims were never shipped..they requested that I send they more money for the mounting and balancing and locks..which I was initially told was included in the $1299.00 I was quoted. After I sent them $700.00, I was told I would owe $599.00, COD...after they had my money, they tried to increase the price, and then charge me 25% for wanting to cancel my order..anyway, the fbi is interested in speaking with anyone who has had the same or similar situation with this company--so if you have not already, call your local office, or go online to the local fbi website and file a complaint. This is Fraud!!!  

I just wanted to post a follow up to my previous post regarding Kwik Fix Tires. For anyone who did not read the prev post. I was quoted 1299.00 for tires rims mounting and balancing..Sent 700.00 western union..rest would be COD ..rims were never sent...they tried to increase the cost after I sent the payment. I cancelled..they tried to charge a cancellation fee. Never received the refund. As I mentioned, I initially reported them to the BBB and they never responded to them, so I reported them to the FBI for fraud. I have been working on this since June and it is now almost October. I have found that getting my refund has proven to be next to impossible. But there is very nice FBI detective that has been helping me out and has paid a few visits to this company. He got them to issue me a refund for all of the money but $25.00 which I agreed to give up for a restocking fee...it beats the $300.00 they were trying to charge me for cancelling. I got the checks in the mail Yesterday...one for $300.00, and one for $375.00...I tried to cash them, and they are bogus checks!! The bank advised me that they do not even have enough money in their account to cover the checks. On top of that..I think that the signature on the checks is even bogus..it is diff on each check and does not look like the name that is on the check..I think that one of the employees pocketed my money. The detective is in touch with me everyday, and is working to get this resolved. So I am very optomestic. I know they dont want the FBI snooping around there. It's horrible that these are the kinds of companies that low rider allows to advertise in the magazine. It is very important that anyone who has been scammed report it to the FBI...They do this to us because a lot of us do not live in California and cannot go to the company...If I was in Citrus Heights CA or anywhere close, I would have been there and this *** would have been resolved...For real.
