I have built several hot rods in the past, but about six years ago I bought a stock 1960 Bel Air four door. It is all original, runs great and has only 40 thousand miles. I take it out on weekends for a couple of hours but then it goes right back into the garage. I had no idea what to do with it until I heard about Low Rods. I did not want to put air bags and tiny rims on this car. That is just not my style. I also did not want to make it into a Hot Rod. This car is too long and low to be a Hot Rod. A Low Rod is what I want!
Are there any companies out there that specialize in Low Rod parts? I am looking for help in droping the car a few inches and shoving some large rims up into the wheel wells. If I can keep the body stock and do this I will be very happy. The engine and drive train I can manage on my own.
Any suggestions?
