Please help me figure this out.I have a 62 chevy impala 4 door fully custom,paint,airride,custom 283,ect,you get the idea.I am winning at evry show i go to here in the mid west but i cant find a club worthy of my impala.it seems that the major clubs like lifestyles,uce to name a few dont like the 4 door.Why?they first told me to take off the 20's so i did and bought some 13/7 red and chrome dayton 120 spokes but they both said it is a 4 door and not allowed.I have owned several award winning lowriders all have been 4 doors but it shouldnt matter how many doors are on the car.If it is a beautiful auto then it should get the credit it deserves.I have been in this lifestyle sence 15 years old,but the stubberness and unwillingness to change for the future has jaded the lowrider culture for me and many others.the proof is when many were trying to boycott the magizene for showin bikes. please someone explain to me the direction the culture is goin and PLEASE tell explain to me why is 4 doors hated.I would like to know before i put another 30 thousand into it.

Just wanted to give you props on your 4 door.  I too have a 4 door low and to be more on the left side of comformity I have an Oldsmobile 66.  Being around cars all my life I have learned to appreciate the beauty and grace of older cars and have learned that like women....they all have a style are there own...and like women...every vato will have his preferences on the shape/color/personality of his car.  So what I am guess I am saying if you like the 4 doors ... as I *** treat them as you would your women...with love.  

I have a 62 impala 2dr sport coupe that im currently restoring. To me im more of a 2dr person but if you like having a 2dr dont worry about what other people like or dislike as long as it eye candy 2 you thats all that should matter. A lot of my friends want me to put hydraulics on my ride but if im putting a lot of money to restore it to almost original condition i wouldnt want to cut it up dont get me wrong its going to be low and roll on 13x7 zenith wire wheels but will be built my way not to what i like.  

screw them!!!!!!!! A low car is a lowrider. let them have there fake asssss rules and shiz.. Look at some old vids and then tell them whats up..  

man dont trip about that *** i had a 4 door cutty on 13 and ppl hated om me but it was cool, i rolled it the way i liked it.so dont let these peeps put you down,stay up peace.  

they all watch to much tv like them auto auctions and they think they choped up chevy is worth big bucks thats why they hate 4 doors to me my lowrider is priceless i dont care what they think its a 4 door and a ford at that
