THE FUTURE OF LOWRIDING?

What is a LOWRIDER? To me its a form of art, family, tradition, and most of all pride. Since I was a little "mocoso" seeing my cousins and their friends in MONTE CARLOS, CUTLASS'S, IMPALAS juiced and cruisin. I ve seen many changes in the LOWRIDING family. From 13" daytons to 26" spinners. From candy paints to chameleon pearls, from suicide doors to gullwings, from hydraulics to air bags. It went from people taking pride, friends, and family building something together to a competition. Why? At heart when everything is done its a good feeling at your kids gradutation may it be this year or 18 years from now to give them the keys to a preserved piece of history. Not just a body shape or model but memories under all that clearcoat. Memories like "Remember statying up till 4 am trying to get that wiring right!" "I remember etching that windshield using a porch light!" Its something alot of people put their heart into still to this day. LOWRIDER MAGAZINE was a place to show your pride and work. It has turned into alot of ads why? Bring the oldschool back. A tour maybe of meeting famlias from north to south from east to west and there projects. Bring the heart and pride back into LOWRIDING.
Thanks, Serafin

To me lowriding is a Sunday afternoon after early mass. It's riding with your good homies to grab a burger and fries. It's pulling up to rich guys with their girl in some expensive exotic sports car...hitting the switch and dippin' low...telling them "yeah your car may cost more, but your car can't do this...". Innocent, fun stuff like that.
