Ive been a faithfull reader since 1988 and Ive got to say that since the magazine went under new management,It has been going down the toilet,,I mean this in the worst way,,from the adds to the big wheels, and its not just me or my Uce Brothers,Members of Majestics,Individuals,Imperials,Groupe and a *** load of other clubs are starting to voice there opinions on how the magazine is being ran.Joe Ray has the influence to move it in the right direction,"Come'on Joe do your job",I know the advertisers in the Mag have a certain part to play in the revenue the mag generates, but has it come down to "Corperate decicions" versus the "interest of the Readers".I just bought the may'08 issue and its filled with *** adds, penis enlargement adds(WTF),and even the "Tire & Wheel Guide" has nuthing but big rims!!What is really going on over there Joe?Where are the zenith's,Dayton's,Or China's?all the guide mentioned was the Coker 5.20's.Also what is up with the change of the "Lowrider Man Logo",Might as well change the name while your at it too,I hope  management at LRM take it with a grain of salt ,there losing readers by the hundreds and pretty soon by the thousands,"Street Customs Magazine" is the next alternative.......What happened to the Magazine that carried the Lowrider Movement thru decades? The influence LRM use to have? The Readers LRM use to Capture?Like I said "Its going down the toilet",To the Shareholders and Management of LRM,Dont forget to flush cuz the time is comming where there will be no more toilet paper(Pages of LRM) to wipe your own behind.........................

I know this months had only 5 cars and the red caddy from UCE is old cause the pics where taken in 05' and where said to be lost and owner isn't UCE any more he's Rollerz now and he sold the caddy.  Come on Joe Ray we know you can do better than this.  you are a og in the game and yet you haven't done nada.  And if stuff isn't done i'm just gonna wait till my subscription is up and never reorder again

WOW, Strong words, but the truth. I've always loved the Low Rider show and the Magazine. Now everything has changed.

Pump the brakes high speed. Although you're free to express your opinion, I'm an UCE and don't share your opinion at all. And I've been involved in the game since the late 80's too. But your lack of respect and talking out your ass is not something I can sit by and watch as an UCE. I've never heard of you, so there's a good chance you're not even a member. But I hear you were on Lay It Low too, and all the UCE tats don't give u the right to drag the UCE family down with you, or any of the other clubs mentioned. If you take the time to look deeper Joe Ray has put a survey here on the site for you to express yourself all you like. I competed last year in every state and the staff makes an effort to make the events easy to deal with. And when I've called their offices, they are professional and courteous. And Joe usually has 5 mins to just stop and say "Hey Uce, thanks for coming to the show." As you know, Rome wasn't built in a day. As for the magazine, like any product, there is always room for improvement. Take the survey and you'll be heard in a more productive way. This kind of mentality that you have exhibited is what killed the Cali shows (we're down to 1 now) and also caused the boycott problems of the past. Instead, be proactive and positive and do what you can to keep the magazine and the movement moving forward. Peace, Oldskool Art

Truth hurts. I've been gettin lowrider since I was 15, and it has turned into a advertising magazine more than a lowrider mag. Love lines and Commentary from the people have disappeared. What's next? the Raza Report? just to make room for an ad for sexual enhancements or more 26"-30"RIMS? Last time I checked, U DON'T PUT A 7" LIFT KIT ON A LOWRIDER!!! that's for TRUCKIN' magazine. I'm been let down also for the fact that Chicago isn't on the tour stop anymore. What gives? Just cuz we in the MidWest we ain't lowriders? I was shocked the the change of the FACE of lowrider, but the man IS an update (he now sports locs).CHANGE IS GOOD, But when does it stop. U want to hit me up, get at me at truluv_219_knuckles@yahoo.com or at my page on NASCAR.COM (1 of the few mexakinz that also like nascar)

I totally agree with all the comments about the bad change. I jus registered jus to say the same *** remember when LRM used to be 250 pgs., now its like a t.v. guide.  and readers are gettin ripped off! 5$ to see about 30 cars in the whole magazine! come on man! true og lowriders know big ass rims dont make a lowrider, so that *** gotta go! and now i like the hell outta  "street customs magazine"!

I may be new at this lifestyle, but looking at magazines from the past and how the magazines are now; I totally agree with you.

The articles are still good and the cars are top-notch. However, I would like to see more content if I have to put up with all the BS penis enlargement and big wheel ads. I just dont understand why the magazine is teeming with so many ads that clearly don't fit the actual lowrider market. The excuse (or reason) is supposedly the ad prices are too high for the mom-and-pops that keep the industry alive and the only ones who can afford to pay are the tacky big rim makers.
