I also got ripped off by this company.  This company has the worse customer service and they lie about everything, I have not receive my refund from them as of yet, I called to get some rims and they just put me on hold for 15 mins and I called the company several times I sent them 900 and the girl Mecca kept telling me "I will call you back" they never called back after 4 days of calling this company the girl tells me they don't have the rims after she already said the rims was about to be shipped off, so I told them I want my money back because they lied about everything and have not received anything yet I got the BBB involved now, and I trying to put in a complaint with the district attorney or sheriff dept in Cali.  

Hey I know how you all feel I also got ripped off from Chromemasters in Modesto. They are also associated with Infinity Tires in Fresno. I ordered three set of rims from the July edition. Me and some friends put our money together since we thought we were getting a good deal. I send half the money right away then they tried to say the price went up. Fine,then it took over 7 months for me to finally get one set of rims, everytime I called they would give me the runaround telling me to call back I finally called BBB and realize they had a bad record so then I called Lowrider they told me they would contact them but I argued with them telling them how can they allow this. Their response was as long as you are a business and pay for your advertisement you can post anything. But they did contact Chromemasters and they finally send me the second set a month later and the third set two months later with me calling them every day. When I got them the  bolt patterns were wrong and they didn't come with the tires like they were suppose to, and they were the wrong rims at that. I am waiting for my brother to come from overseize, because we are going to drive down there from the LoNe sTaR sTaTe .....and get this *** straight...  

Lowrider Magazine (Primedia).Should hold some of the responsibilty when scammer companies advertise in there magazine to consumers and rip them off.  

They should, but they have a disclaimer on the first
page. All the way at the bottom it says "This book is purchased with the understanding that the information presented is from varied sources for which there can be no warranty or responsiblity by the Publisher as to the accuracy or completeness."
....Well that sucks!  

Any Disclaimer can be challanged in a court of law(check the BBB) if multiple consumers are skammed and the individuals whether it be a company or single body that advertises a companies on there magazine or internet is notified about the scams and continue to publish or post the companies advertisement info for proprietary or income gain can be held responsible along with the Company thats commiting the fraud.......  

True, but when L.R.M. stops printing those ads the same company changes their name and gets in the mag again. Could they still hold the mag responsible? Or just stop printing ads unless a extensive backround search can be done. Either way the magazine will find some way to refuse resposiblity and not take any action, unless court ordered to do so. Man I feel you, I ordered my wheels and tires on the 1st of February. I finally got them on 15th.  And this guy name Shawn gave me a price for wheels and tires shipped to me. A couple of days later his manager called and said oh it's gonna be another 250 dollars for shipping and cod charges. So my reply was, Shawn told me that the price was only 250 dollars less than. So after all of that back and forth and back and forth with him about the price I told him to go ahead and send me my wheels and tires. So I called them every day and they would keep saying hold on hold on or call back tomorrow. This went on for about 10 days or so. And also everytime I call I would ask them what kind of wheel did I ordered and their reply would be,"Oh man we got U" and then they would try to rush u off the phone.  So then about 4 days into all of this b s I asked Shawn,"Are my tires coming mounted and balanced?" He replied yes.  So about 6 days after that I talked to a manager and he said man you didn't order any tires. I replied yes I did sir. So any ways to make a long story short they shipped the wrong wheels and the wrong bolt pattern. They supposed to be sending UPS to pick them up and they got all of their funds. I told the manager that shipping out their and back should be free because it wasn't my fault. He replied yeah.  

maybe we should all pitch in five bucks to run our own half page in LRM, and let everyone know about this jerk in Cali. whose ripping people off.
maybe even the amounts and that we know his name and what city he lives in......?  

and the cops wonder why we dont trust them, they pull this " theres nothing we can do " crap and let us honest people out to dry......
they are just as bad.
and the BBB, they should do something....

I've been and also know a lot of people who have been ripped off by them. We never get the rims we want, but nevered had to wait more than 2 weeks(im in VA).

The only company that had have seen been truthful to their customer and stood behind their word is Akins. My cousin dealt with them 3 or 4 times always got the rims & tires he wanted on time.

CHROME MASTERS IS THE WORST ALSO!!!!!  

usa tire and wheel out let inc. are rip offs got double charged for shipping and when called to ask sal the owner why he said its because i was paying for rims and tires..i said i only want rims...so he said then the charge was for rim accesories just trying to find somthing to justify the reason for over charging me...we got into an arguement and he started cussing and saying racial slures about me being a mexican..well i recorded our conversation with sal and will be posting it on youtube and myspace for all to here.. this company is bad news i think L.R.M.  should take them out of there magazine .. but thats my opinion...just stay clear of usa tire and wheel outlet they are bad news....thank you i also notified bbb and federal trade and  one other company so to all you hard working   honest people  out there you deserve better than usa tire they actually tarnish the word usa  for the way sal acted....good luck all im done venting  

I THINK I WAS SCAMMED OUT OF THE LOWRIDER MAGAZINE.BY A PLACE CALLED MAJESTIC WHEELS.HAS ANYBODY EVER HEARD OF THEM IF SO WRITE BACK PLEASE BECAUSE I SENT THEM MONEY AND I HAVE ONLY SPOKE TO SOMEONE TWICE AND I TOLD THEM I WANTED MY MONEY BACK,BUT ANY WAYS IF ANYBODY KNOWS WHAT I CAN DO PLEASE LET ME KNOW.THANKS

[italic italic]I was also ripped off but by Motek Wheels and Accesories out of Lowrider Magazine.  It all started when I called and placed an order with a guy who claimed to be A.C. for a set of wheels.  He promised that they would be 2,500.00 total with shipping and they gave me my order number.  Then I sent 2,500.00 cash western union and was told that I would recieve them in 3-5 business days.  When I called for the tracking number they said that they didn't have an order for me, then they requoted me for the same wheels and the price went up to 4,500.00.  At that point I asked to talk to the manager but A.C. said "I am the man of the house, and that is the price."  So I simply asked for a refund and he said that it would cost me $1,741.00 for a cancellation fee and that it would take 7-14 days to recieve.  It has been nine months and now we have a lawsuit. Where coming for you MOTEK!!!!!!!!!!
