Our 11 year old son uses a wheelchair, due to a bone disease. I need to convert a minivan for easy access for him. To make the ramp work I need to be able to lower and raise the rear end of the van, so that the deck will be as close to the ground as possible while loading.

I know nothing about hydraulics and air suspension, but I need some help on a quick education in how this stuff works. Can anybody take a minute and point me to some good beginner info on this topic? Also, any advice on finding someone locally to install it for me?
