Are you referring to the section on Lowrider Bike or Lowrider Magazine?

It's really ashame the magazine dissapeared. I have to say the quality of the content, especially for the model cars, went down rapidly the last couple of years of LRB's exsistence. The problem unfortunatly is that it all has to do with dollars and cents that's how it is. To get a quality magazine going you need advertising as soon as that part goes down the magazine also goes down with it. From what I understand even LRM has a hard time keepin' it up and needs to go with stuff that is not really related to the true lowrider lifestyle.
I really hope that within 4 years the whole lowrider lifestyle will grow and gains back the attention and popularity it once had. Perhaps it needs a new and creative direction to get things going again.
Best regards, Jevries.

From what I understand, and remember this is only what I've heard from several people that have/had subscriptions to LRM in the US(I don't have the oppertunity to pick up an LRM issue that often anymore living in Holland), that there were/are quite a few big wheel/ donk type of things in the mag to name one thing.
What LRB was concerned I def didn't care to see pages with kid's clothing, games, etc. Bikes and models where THE features when they started out and they should have stick to that. Don't waste pages on kids clothing, computer games, etc. When you buy a magazine that has the title lowrider magazine than thats' what the mag should be all about: lowriders. But once again I can imagine it must be quite hard to maintain a magazine when advertisers pull out because of the public losing intererest.

If I recall correctly one of the last LRB's had a 2 page spread with kids showing cloths...video game review by Nathan, article on well painted Hot wheels but not lowrider related and more of that stuff that I can read in other mags. What I am saying is keep things close to base...lowriding.

I have to say I totaly enjoyed writing and shooting pics of my work for the 3 feature articles in LRB. I had high hopes that it would inspire the LRB staff to get more freelance people involved covering a huge area with people creating excellent lowrider bikes and model cars...there's so much going on these days. Every day I receive alot of emails/guesbook entries from people that are stoked about lowrider model cars and want to get involved. It gives me good hope fo the future and who knows one day a new lowrider bicycle/ model car mag will appear.
