Whats the happs? I'm building a bike for my daughter, i already got about six bills invested. It has all the necesary accesories, yet lacks paint. My Question is what are the ball park figures for sheet metal and paint.

A decent to good paint job of a solid color is about a bill.I have no clue on the sheet metal Id say look in you local phone book and ask them about prices. prolly be cheap being you only need a couple of small pieces.

Thanks for your hit. Yet its also hard to find anyone who will work on bikes in my area (IE).  if all else fails i'll just roll up my sleeves and do it in the back yard. but if you have any references that would be cool.

Yeah i checked them out. do you use bondo or sheet metal.
when i was a kid we used to use window screen and bondo on top, but that was back in the early 80s.

you can use jb weld and thin guage sheetmetal. its easier because when you weld you gotta use a thicker guage or you will just burn through the metal. the thin stuff is easier to cut and you can find it at the hardware store. the hard part is getting the bondo smooth
