that looks a lot like what i started with, except i didnt have hand brakes. its a cool looking bike and i like the frame color too. just get rid of the hand brakes for a coaster, remove the stickers with some goo off, get rid of any reflectors, lower the seat and remove the spring and there you go! i would also buy a few blue bandanas and wrap the seat and grips with them. as far as parts like mirrors and all that, i dont know of any u.k. based websites. try ebay or lay it low. if all else fails you will have to pay for that international shipping and wait forever for your parts

i agree with the cool looking bike part but being pretty much a first timer modding bikes, could you explain the parts out to me so i can try and aqcuire them...i.e., wtf is a coaster?? i was wondering as well if i found the right sort of lights if i could change the reflectors for lights....i pretty much want to leave it as it is for a while unless i can get all the parts..i want to remove the stickers but then i think it'd look a bit too bland...do us a favour and post a pic of the one you've got fool if you can so i can see what you mean, it'd be a great help!! thanks for the suggestions too!

yeah thats a coaster brake. it will look a lot better to not have the brake lines on the bike. i'll go take some pics right now and show you what im talking about

okay, i started with pretty much the same bike. just a different color and with some extra stickers, but if you look close the pedals and all the other parts are the same. i just had a coaster brake

the stickers looked gay so the next day i took them off with some goof off. while i was at it i lowered the seat and put the spring on the outside of the fork to lower it

my bike looks a lot different now but heres some detail pics to help you out
this is a coaster brake. it should be easy to find a wheel with a coaster brake at any bike shop. you might have trouble finding one with the same amount of spokes so just look around

here is what i did with my spring, its really easy and it lowers the bike a lot. you will probably want to wrap something around the frame like i did to keep the forks from chipping the paint though

you dont need to go to a lowrider bike store to find cool parts either. these are drawer pulls from a hardware store on these fenders. (the crystal balls)

right now im making some streamers out of beads like these bikes have

and as far as lights go, i dont know if they can replace reflectors and still be legal, but i dont even know if reflectors are required by law, especially in the uk. my headlight really works but the fender lights are just for looks

okay, cool.....i want to retain some originality, it being the only lowrider bike in the immediate area.....though i do want to have a darker metallic colour to it as it looks better and change the seat colour and handgrip colours....how can i change the colours of the seat etc and what colour is that on your frame.....nice bikes btw!!

if you want to paint the frame just take it all apart, scuff the old paint, buy a few cans of model car paint spraycans, and paint it very carefully. you do those model cars so im sure you know how to use a spraycan. as far as changing the upholstery goes just find a yard of something you think looks good and cover the seat with it. im not great at doing that so i like to use something really thin and light, its easier to work with.

dunno now....just having it sit in even a crappy non-pristine condition in my back-yard i have begun to warm to it as it is....so i may just leave it still..... not that it wont get dirty me being 14, summer coming and everyone owning a bicycle it's gonna be pretty hard to keep me indoors..it's just the disappointment in bringing a bicycle back home and then realising it was a display model.   so i think i'll just let it be for a while....
