Hi.

Beware everyone, I am going to sound like such a newb, but damnit it's because I am one!

I am 20 years old, and I have been aching for a low rider for the last few years. The thing is, I don't know anyone who has one, and there are no shops in my local area that sell them.

All I know about the beautiful creations called lowrider bicycles, is what I like in terms of style. Other than that I am soo lost.

I don't know what to buy, where to buy, how much to pay, how to perform basic repairs...

I am in dire need of all your expert advice!!!

Yours Truly,

Lucy Fur.

p.s. I would like to subscribe to lowrider bicycle magazine, how would I go about doing this?

i usually buy my parts online from here
http://www.aztlanbicycle.com/
if theres no swap-meets or anything near your house to get a frame cheap then buy one from there and start building from there

lay it low is a better forum and there are people from canada on there to that could probably help you but for bike parts you should try downlowcustoms.com

main advice, you'll hear a lot is LOOK AROUND....it'll be a painstakingly long process but it might pay off....i mean i live in england and i found one completely by mistake!!! so you'll probably get one when you're shopping for oranges or somethingg...
