What do you think about rap in Spanish? At first I was skeptic, but my coworker at Universal, surprisingly enough, introduced me to Akwid and Jae-P. Has anyone checked out their albums "Live in Japan" and "pa mi Raza"? I had not idea that I woudl end up liking their music so much, but I have to admit it is pretty catchy. Anyone else agree?

i wouldnt even try to keep up with that rapper slang. back in the day rappers talked like us and dressed like us and thats why it was cool, now its the other way around. i bet those rappers are laughing their asses off at how they get people to dress and talk. big cheap silver spinning medallions and fubu crap. i would rather die then wear the crap snoop dogg and 50 cent have on

Wait a second, who said anything about them being from the East Coast??? As far as I knwo they are West Coasters. And I agree about mainstream rappers and them singing and preaching things that don't make any sense to where they came from. I mean how many of us really use all the "bling" as was said earlier??
You all should really check out Akwid and Jae-P. I mean Jae-P's songs are great the lyrics really mean something. I was able to relate to them he talks about a lot of issues that are relevant. If you are looking for music that is of substance like you all have been claiming you should really check them out.
