that paint scheme is ok it does suit the body lines, maybe in different colors, baby blue and off white, or bayleaf and cream, you know soft colors so it looks dreamy...like you

I am not 100% on the paint... This was only one idea a guy in my club had.. I don't know if I would like to do just one color or more then one color. I do know I Love the Candy Colors.. I just am not hip on the over done colors that most first generation Montes are painted now.. (1970-1972) Most are painted Blue, Black, Purpal or Red... I would like somthing that will grad your attenshen at a show, but not done on everthing you see now. Also would like it to look DEEP, as if it is wet.. I was even kicking around a Burnt Rose color I seen in a chip book a few days ago.. Here is a photoshop of the color in one idea I had. (the burnt rose is a little darker then this pic, but this is the best I can do on the rendering, still new at it.)
I am still just kicking around ideas, so if you have any and can do a rendering, please share..

I am realy likeing that Birnt Rose color the more I look at it.. (Pinkish) So they know it is a lady's car when I am at shows... I alwasy get that.. They think it is a guy's car when they see it then freek when I jump in and drive off.. LOL! Or freek when They see me driving down the road, and ask if it is mine.. Well Duh, I am driving it... OH well... I think I do like that Burnt Rose... Maybe do the entire car like that, and then do some nice old school pin stripes on it a shade darker or lighter of that same burnt rose.. Or even a wite pin stripe. Just would like it to stick out and be diforent, not like all the rest out there..

LOL! Thanks! I try...
I do like the rims, and plan on keeping them.. That is why I am calling this Monte a "Lowrider with a Twist" Since most have small rims that are wires. I like that as well, but like I said, trying to be diforent, and not be like every other ride out there.
As for the air ride... Yes... I already have a Firestone Set up on it, since I get great discounts on air ride from work. That is why it is so low now.. The air ride as well as the drop spindels I have put on it. I am working on getting it lower in the back, but have to get a diforent styel air spring (air bag) for the rear to do it. Plan on doing that by no later then spring.
This is what the drivers front looked like after cutting some of the medal away so the air spring (air bag) would fit with out hitting.
You can see more pic's of the work I have done by going to Car Domain... It had a LOT of rust when I first got it.
Here is a link to my car domain for my Monte... MONTE's CAR DOMAIN

Sweet!!! you gonna c-notch the rear? alot of people think thats only for trucks but its not!!! and then you can stick with the bags you have now!!! Then car im working on now will have a set of wire wheels for special occasions but for normal street time i got some rims from a 79 Regal that im putting on it!!! 14's of course I like that your doing something different!! You know that if ayou can get a hold of a tank or two of helium with 450PSI of pressure you can still get that car to jump a decent height with the hit of a switch? I got that from LRM of course!! That would be pretty sweet!!! Keep it cool, Chris
