I got a free copy from one of them share ware sites, that you can down load programs, MP3's etc. from...  So I got it for free (and the full program)...  I think if you where to go out and buy a copy it is expensive.

What color or paint sceam don't you like that I am thinking about doing?

I am trying to make it diforent, as well as stick out with out being like everyone else out there with an old school Monte...  

Heck, the car is hot just in Primer (gray)...  I get every guy drool'n when I cruise it around town.  Heck every time I stop to get gas in it, they are asking to buy it.  Since they like what I have done to it already....

dont panit it some color like baby blue, i was thinking about it!  it is not ment to be a lowrider car it is a muscle car so paint it like red or something so the color stands out and makes the car look fast like red with some ghost flames or red with black racing strips in the middle see now that will look bad ass and but a bad ass system and you can keep the 20's now that will look bad ass

My 71 Monte has Air Ride, drop spindles and the 20-inch rims that Tuck Nice!  It is on its frame when I let out all the air in the air ride.

I think I have decided on painting it something like this...


So guys all know it is mine.  I hate it when they all ask "Is that yours?"  Ahhhh...  Hello, "I am driving it, so it must be mine...”

What do you think of my idea on what I may be doing?

Still don't know if I should shave the door handles and locks and get the poppers for my doors and trunk.  I have shaved everything else on it like the hood ornament, side markers, trim, mirrors, and emblems.

What do you think?  Should I shave the Door Handles and locks as well?

I think she should go with whatever she likes, i mean it is her car obviously. and thicklatina may just suit you i mean you seem unable to spell...strips = stripes, panit = paint, so on so forth. I think it's good that steph knows what she wants to do with the car coz then she can go ahead and do it. I photoshopped it for her a while back and have been busy for a loooong time (lol, sorry steph ) and i thought what she was trying to explain to me worked and looked good. so yeh, go all out steph. that's what lowriding's all about, your own style, taste, expressions. lowriders are works of art, so you should take time and work it how you like. btw, if you wanna see a decentish photoshop that's REALLY whack, check out my coupe deville in the arte section!!  

Since your a female I go with the PORNO STAR PINK and RACING STRIPES . All in all its up to you and what u think looks the tightest . Hope to see u cruising in the CHI this summer . YOU GO GYRL !!!!!!  

if you want a free photo editing utility use GIMP. do a search and find it. works like PS. have to download two parts to use it. Two toning it is fine, just make sure you cut the paint with a pattern or some gold/silver leaf. wouldnt call the car a lowrider but it is a nice custom car. you can use a ton of color combos. just make sure you can match the top color with the interior you plan on using. just go with the body lines as you did in the photo shop. for instance in this picture, you could go a cream interior. or you could simplify things for the painter and paint the car in black. leave the top or bottom of the paint BLACK and use a candy color on the other part. for instance, using a black cherry on the bottom and leaving the top black and using a black interior.

black top half pink botom half and pink racin stripes or whatever u gonna use or black top silver bottom and pink pinstriping  

in order to stick with two colors id do black on the bottom, black stripes, pink on top and a pink interior. depends on what color you want the interior. you can always reverse the colors if you want a black interior. you could also run the stripes inside the car as inserts including through the dash and rear deck.  

I am not trying to have to do anything to the inside, since it has all been redone already.  Just needs a realy good detail. It is realy good looking.  So don't wont to mess with it if I don't have to.  I plan on geting rid of the nasty home maid center council that you can see in this picture.  A guy in an old car club I was in (long since quit, and got into a new one now.) maid it for me, and it looks crappy.  I just got a piller pod so going to move the air ride gauges to that, and trash that nasty thing!

I also plan on tinting the windows this summer with the help of a guy in my car club. Going to go dark as well.  Since it is a show car, and only nice weather car.  The sate law in my area alows show cars to tint the windows as dark as you like as long as it is a show car.  So plan on going around 5% on the side windows and back window, with nuthing on the front window..





This is what the inside looks like on my Monte..  You can see that it is purfect.  I will try and get better pictures of it the next day we don't have rain.  It Has been raining around here for about the last 2 weeks. {Indiana}
