Thanks, I am going old school lowrider with the Galaxie, and like I said new age lowrider (lowrider with a twist) with the Monte Carlo. Since I like both set ups.
The new age lowrider is most commen around here (where I live In Indiana) the old school is very scarce.
I think I have picked the color I am going to put on the Monte.. Just have to finish the little bit of body work and paint it now. (as soon as the weather gets a little warmer.) I wish I had a heated garage.. ![]()
As for the Galaxie.. Don't know what color I will go with it when it is ready. I may go a flat color, since it seems to look good in flat. Or maybe a gold or silver... Who knows. It is a far way off from paint yet. Has a lot of problem areas I have to fix first. But it will get there.

i have to agree lrm has gone from the o.g. mag that it was from showing all lowriders and some beach cruisers and hotrods to showing all beach cruisers and hot rods to a little lowriders. and we lost todays youth to 00'-07' cars wich r now coming out with big rims and kids in my class tell me lowriders r stupid and ugly and that their to low that when they go down main the brick road will catch the frame and tear it up and say i want a 60-07 car paint it black paint all the chrome black and put 26s black and i tell them the tru lowriders dont need to hide *** we make em r way that way to impress and show our work we put into them. and wats really degrading is wen u have to school your own raza your own race on what lowrider is. and that really pisses me off.

I've heard that before.I'm young and i like lowriders and highrisers. There is hardly no difference only highrisers have bigger wheels and sit high.lowriders have smaller wheels and are low and everything else is pretty much the same

The difference is, highrisers have nothing to do with lowrider culture and lifestyle. Lowriding is a specific way of life, way of thinking, a certain state of mind, a specific look, feeling. If you don't know what any of these traits are, you may never know. It's something that can't be taught. It must be experienced first hand. If you have a lowrider, that doesn't mean you are a lowrider also. A lowrider car didn't start the lowrider culture. The culture created the car. The lowrider culture expressed their art, emotions, styles, that couldn't be described by words, through a vehicle. A car that would physically represent it's owner.

what do high risers have to do with lowridin anyway they look like they should be crushing cars or something like monster trucks the only thing their missing is the 1,000 horse power engines and shold be popping wheelies.

![]() My Monte can TUCK it's 20's with no problems, and is laying frame as well when I let out all the air in the air bags. So like I said... A Lowrider with a twist... (What I am calling it.) LRM even considers it a Lowrider now. A new age Lowrider. I don't like any rims to be over 20's... They are way too big. Heck, I did not think I would like the 20's when I got them, but I fell in love with them when I seen that my Monte could still lay frame with them, and can Tuck them up in it's huge (stock) wheal wells and it still has 2-4 inches of room all the way around in the wheal wells.

I will have to post the new PhotoShop pictures I did of it in the next few days. I think it will look good. Something diforent. I am just not feeling the old design I had posted a few months ago.
