I've never had hydros before, but always wanted them. I plan juice my 81 Coupe DeVille later this year. I want to have F,B,S,S and 3 wheel. I know I might to hop the front a little, but not much cause I don't want to mess up my car. Can this be done with 2 pumps or do I need 4? How much frame work do I need to do? Also do I need chains?

A 2 pump will do a rolling 3 and hop a little. But Hydro's are addicting you allways wont more. So on that note if you have the $ for a 4 pump do it. If not this is what we sugg.
2 good pumps, 8" cyl. up front, 12" cyl. in back with coilovers and 360'powerballs. You will wont to run 8 Batt. for the waight. And the (frame reinforced) is a must anything you wont to 3 wheel.
And Chris is right about the links

For standing 3 wheel I need 4 pumps? Just stress points or full frame? Does anyone know how good Lona & Sons Hydraulics in KC is? I got someone that'll wrap my frame, I would like to do the rest myself but have no torch or welder. So I need to save alot of money. Is winter bad on hydraulics? I heard its horrible, is that true?

We allways Sugg. A full frame But you can just do the points. And you don't have to run 4 you can get a 3 pump 2 to the back.As for L&S Hyd. We have put them in for people but never got a good or bad on them. And the winter ? pumps in the winter is like your car in winter the oil gets thick
and is hard to push. All you have to do is cut the batt. down to 24v they will be slow but it wont be as hard on them and at night you ALLWAYS drop it so the cyl. wont rust.
