hey everyone, i have a 1989 caddy coupe deville. i am gonna intall Red's 2 pump kit, but i dont know if i should let them install it, or attempt it myself. Would instructions come with the kit? ALso is there alot of welding, or anything else like that?. The reason is.. the kit is 999$ but installation is another 1500$ and i got a low budget. i would appreciate any tips, thanks FiF-T

If you don't have any prior hydro install experience, don't even mess with your car. Your front will have to go through extensive mods because of being a FWD vehicle. This should be handled only by someone with alot a experience. This isn't like cutting out a Cutlass or towncar. You have to take alot of precautions when lifting a fwd unibody car. I have a 90 fleetwood coupe just like yours except I got fender skirts. i never lifted the front because They way to cut the stuts up never seemed very stable to me. The rear is easy and could be done by anyone with an education on basic hydros

If you don't have a good welder just pay someone to do it. but if you still wont to try Prohopper makes a strut kit. Reds only makes them for a honda
