Why don't i see a lot of Wagons at lowrider events or just like at local park type gatherings? is it just the risk of hydraulic lines blowing and messing the interior up or is it just there kind of neglected? not mad just noticed and was just wondering!! Much love keep riding!!!

Traditionally, wagons have never been heavy on the scene just because finding a 1950's 1960's era clean 2dr. wasn't to big of a deal throughout the ages. As more time passed, these desirable 2 dr. cars were getting more and more expensive and harder to find. So what's the alternative? Get a wagon. They're alot cooler than sedans and way cheaper than 2drs. INfact in the last couple years, I've seen alot of heavy hitter wagons showing up on the scene. Look at what Elite *** has been doing with chevy grocery getters.

Positive ****(stuff) haha!! yeah ive always kind of liked wagons. i helped my friend build a malibu wagon to do 10's in the quarter mile. i like to show people something kind of new you know!! so that kind of my reason for the wagon thing.. the grocery getter thing is wack lol think it it haha more room for pumps and bump 8 pumps 16 batteries and 4 1000 watt 12's all married together okay maybe not that much but you get the picture alright keep them cars a hopping and keep riding

You have any pics? To be honest, I don't know what a 69 special looks like. Is it an intermediate size like a cutlass or skylark or is it full size example..electra, lesabre...

Yo i read chevy is remaking the 55' nomad station wagon, it's the 55 bel air but wagon wise, they already launched the project in 04'. im readin up on it in this book i got here it's called "Greatest American Cars", its pretty informative cost 20 bucks, its huge, pick it up at your nearest bookstore, it says the new concept nomad will have a 4 cylinder engine and turbocharged, perhaps thats the cheap model, im thinkin' along the lines of a dodge magnum shape, only two door instead of 4. I like the whole idea of reinterpreting oldies. It shows how cars are supposed to look like.
