Alright, i own a 2005 Chevy Impala, im a great fan of reverse daytons or "deep-dish" in other words but unfortunately for me i bought the car without knowin' it was FWD!, (dumbest decision ever made)
I'm sure you've all heard of the new Wire Scepters on sale.
they are RWD. Here is my question to ya'll, is it possible to mount wire scepters on my FWD Impala without the wheel sticking out. For those that do not know the Wire Scepter, it's pretty much like a FWD wire only the nipples start about atleast an inch in off of the edge. Also, perhaps i was speaking without knowing, fore i have never mounted a wire rim in my life, but is it even a possibility to mount the rim at all even though there is a difference in wheel specifications, i.e. my impala is FWD and the Wire Scepter is RWD. Please help.

never heard it called that before, what your refering to is a standard rwd rim yes it will work with a 175/70/14 ww at least your 05 came with an 8 cyl. rims are so cheap now what is the sale on the standrds? cuz a cheap chinese made set normally is no more than 3 hundred new.

naw man are you sure?, were not talkin about normal 13's, these aren't average lowrider daytons, the wires are more upfront, more close to the lip, i mean i would like normal deep 13's but i think they will stick out a bit though, and nope that piece a crap impala is a standard v6, it's only good as an SS, and even then it's a 3.8 liter, mines is a 3.4, theres nothin' more cool than ol' school!

yes standards arent deep dish like a reversed but it is rear wheel drive rim, I had them on my 95 deville concourse with skirts in the back it looked like a rear wheel drive car.
