I am thinking of buying a 91 Caprice from a friend at work who bought the car from another guy that actually installed the hydros. It's a 2 pump, 10 switch, 4 bat set up. The kid rode the car for about 2 weeks before they stopped working. Since then it's been sitting (rich kid has like 5 cars). Apparently the guy who did install them came back to help with no success. I guess when you hit the switch it sounds like it wants to go up but won't. I know they did replace the solenoids (at least I think thats what he said)and nothing changed. I've been lowering cars for years but I am limited in my knowledge of Hydraulics. I did call the guys at CCE and he said it was probably not a big deal. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

check & make sure u got no leaks. Might be block not holding pressure or gearhead not building pressure. Check seals between gearhead and block

Yo bro, I am gonna get this *** on Sun Morn! I can'tell you how much I appreciate the help! I'm up here in Rochester, NY and the Hyro shops up here last about 6 months. I'm glad I came back to my roots in the lowrider community. I've been buying LOWRIDER for years and have been out of the game for a min! I've had some tight rides that I slammed but I'm a virgin in the world of Hydros and now have a good job etc. The best part is that my soon to be fiancee is into this *** too! I can't wait to hear those pumps workin! I need a mentor in the Hydro world that can help out when the *** stops workin! I guess I'm just happy to find someone thats familiar with this stuff! Thanks Again Bro!

Hey, just got the front working last night..I have a feeling the guy who installed them did a half assed job on the back...The main problem was the batteries were shot. I went and bought 4 new ones and I'm good. Quick question for you or anyone else that can help, the pump in the back is trying to work but smoke comes out if I hit the switches for the back. Is it that the fluid is low (if so what the hell do you use for the fluid)or is that a good sign that the motor is toast. Also, how should the slow valve be set, I am a newbie and have no idea what it's for although I have my theories. On that note the car is not lifting as fast as I thought it would, is it possible to adjust that? I'll stop there with the questions, thanks for all of the input..as I said before I,m up here in Rochester, NY and there arent even any shops to call up here for support. Thanks everyone, I look forward to hearing from you!
