I have a few basic questions about hydraulics and airbags. I want to get either hydraulics or airbags on my ride and was wondring wat would be better for what i need.
I dont need them for hopping or hydraulic competitions, i'm just looking for looks, and putting the car in positions when parked in parkin lots or whatever (such as all low, left side down and right side up, right side down and left side up, front side down and back side up, back side down and front side up, and possibly three-wheelin), so what would be best for something like that? PLEASE HELP

I would choose hydraulics running at 36 volts with accumulators. ![]()
If you want to 3 wheel then def have to go with hydraulics.

Why is that, would air bags not be able to handle the pressure or something? and how much would hydraulics like the ones you mentioned run for?

Oh yea, i dont know if this matters but its not going to be on small rims like 13"s it will be on 18"s... is that fine because most cars i see with hydraulics ride on 13"s

What kind of car is it vato. im not tryin to say anything bad about your car. It depends on the rim. to me i've seen like ugliest cars with big wheels & hydraulics. I would go for 17s then 18s with 17s it would be low but with some 18s you would have to cut your fender Welds to fit.

Well I dont have to worry bout that anymore because my car came with stocl 16"s and I think i'm going to just get new spokes at 16" to make it a hell of a lot easier.

Its just a matter of preference. It doesn't matter what size wheels you have to make a choice. The hydraulics are stronger. And at 36 volts. You will get a lot more play time for a lot less money. Air bags are fine too. But you will spend some money on compressors with air to keep up with the hydraulics "PLAYING TIME".
You would'nt be able to hop more than an inch or so at 36 volts but if you did want to 3-wheel it wouldn't be a problem with even 24 volts on a hydraulic system. the only reason people have all those batteries is for more HOPPING POWER. There are a lot of people that have only 4 batteries to power an entire system of two pumps and four dumps. Two batteries (24 volts to each pump.)
the dumps is what makes the car go down. If you had a dump for each cylinder then you could lower each corner or a side or the entire vehicle at the same time. The pumps are what raises the car. If you had two pumps, then you could raise the front with one pump and the rear with the other pump. Then drop what ever corner you wanted.
YOUR CHOICE. YOUR MONEY. You have to make the final decision.
Hope this helps. BTW for a two pump 4 dump system, call showtime hydraulics and ask for MARK for a total price on what you will need. His number is 1.800.732.9866 or http://showtimehydraulics.com/
