my 64 impala has a chevrolet 350 (v8 of course) it has a quadra jet and an hei ignition that all looks stock. i was told this is an eighties engine but im not sure. can any one tell me what years ran this combo? when it started and when it ended. also where the heck are my numbers ? guess im a loser but im lost in those web sites! i wish there was a dumbies guide to old chevys! i seriously be there biggest fan ! any ways if there is any other info you need just ask ill get ot to asap....PLEASE HELP!!!!

I'm not sure, but check out http://www.classicindustries.com They have just about everything you need for Impala's and Full Size Cars. I am sure you can find out through them about your engine, even if you need to call them. Good Luck!

DAMN!! THIS IS AN OLD AS TOPIC! TALK ABOUT BRINGING IT BACK FROM THE GRAVE! BUT......
THERE'S NO EFFING WAY THAT 350 WOULD BE AN OG '64 ENGINE!! THE 64'S ONLY CAME WITH 283, 327, 409 ENGINES! OF YAH AND THE 6 CYLINDERS TOO! BUT ANYWAY THE 350 PROLLY IS FROM THE 80'S SINCE THAT WERE MANY PPL JACK 'EM FROM! 80'S CARS!
