I have an '01 tahoe with 22's on it. My dilema is I need to lower it to get rid of that hideous gap between the fender & the tire.  I purchased 3" drop springs for the back with new shocks & waiting on torsion key adjusters for the front, but when I was recentely talking to a guy here about installing it for me he was very negative about it.  he said he had the same set up in his yukon & hated the ride.  told me it jolted everytime he hit a bump and also said I wouldnt be able to tow my 2500lb boat anymore.
can I PLEASE get some more opinions about this?  I really want to get my ride lowered but now I am scared the look wont be worth the ride

Torsion keys are the only way to get rid of that gap...You mec must know what he was doing. Thats a loud of crap. Normally the ride is better..
