I think guys got tired of seeing nothing but repitition for 10 yrs. Show bikes like Last profesy got lots of points from the judges but it looked like a gold plated junkyard . The best bikes are not made just for points alone but becuase of the love of the style. When I go to a show I pass by the restored Stingrays and Krate bikes for the same reason I'm getting tired of the new crop of LR bikes, last years show looked just like this years. Too many rules and things die out. Building is expensive and it's no fun buying the same old parts as they had 10 years ago. There needs to be a way to make a new kind of lowrider bike, keeping the style but making it fresh again. I don't see this happening, thats why we got what we got now, nothing new and no magazine anymore. The best thing about the last couple of issues were the choppers, it was cool seeing them.
We still need the OG style, and we also need something new and fresh .

I don't know why LRM cancelled it in the first place, it was an inspiration to a lot of kids and a gateway into the lifestyle and stepping stone into car building. I guess the $$$ just wasn't in it for LRM or primedia though.
